Attorney Ann C. Weiss is a 2003 graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law. She chose Loyola based in part on its Child & Family Law certificate program and curriculum and received a Certificate in Child and Family Law upon graduation. In 2005, after two years of practicing family law in Cook County (Chicago), Illinois, Ann relocated to Green Bay where she has been practicing ever since. Her family law practice includes representation of clients ranging in cases from basic divorce actions to more complex matters involving child custody, physical placement, grandparent and third-party visitation, asset division and financial support issues. She enjoys practicing in several counties including Brown, Door, Kewaunee, Oconto, and Outagamie and others as the need arises. Ann is a trained Guardian ad Litem, and has substantial experience representing the best interests of minor children involved in contested custody/placement cases.
Community involvement is an important part of Ann's personal and professional life and includes serving on local boards. Her past and present board involvement includes CASA of Brown County, Marion House, Notre Dame Academy, Freedom House and serves as Trustee on the Parish Council at St. Matthew Catholic Community. She also has served on the executive board of the Brown County Bar Association for 8 years. She takes great interest in programs supporting children and families of all backgrounds and with diverse needs, recognizing that no child is born without dreams, and it takes the adults around them to cultivate and encourage their dreams. |
